G2’s Intern Program is back for its 6th amazing summer! You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Executive & Senior Leadership Teams. We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, ensuring you’ll have a balanced experience over the course of the 10 weeks.

About The Role
As a Business Development Intern on our Revenue team, you'll work directly alongside our Account Executives (AEs), Account Managers (AMs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to help accelerate the team's effectiveness. This isn't a coffee-fetching internship you'll get hands-on exposure to B2B SaaS sales and come away with real skills in sales research, enablement, and AI-powered automation.
In This Role, You Will:
Support AEs & SDRs — Work closely with the sales team on day-to-day activities including account research, outreach preparation, and follow-up coordination. Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to surface timely, relevant insights for the team.
Competitive & Market Research — Conduct research on industry trends, buyer personas, and the competitive landscape to support outreach and sales conversations.
AI-Powered Sales Automation — Help build AI agents and automations that remove frictionfrom the daily sales workflow, using LLMs like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to power use cases such as prospect research, follow-up creation, and meeting preparation — giving our AEs and SDRs more time to sell.
Project Ownership — Take on a defined intern project that you'll present to the sales leadership team at the end of the summer.
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can write a crisp email and hold a confident conversation
Naturally curious and research-oriented — you enjoy digging into data and figuring out what makes a good prospect
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets); exposure to CRM tools (Salesforce) is a plus
Familiarity with LLMs and AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) — you've gone beyond the chat interface and experimented with APIs, prompting, or building simple automations
A self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do next
Ready to work in AMER, EMEA or India shifts.
What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:
Experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) or no-code AI tools like Zapier, Make, or n8n
Previous internship or part-time experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles
Familiarity with B2B SaaS or the software industry
Experience with sales tools like Outreach, Salesloft, Groove or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
