This position is a global value engineer which supports the global sales organization. This is an individual contributor role and is client facing. The position creates and presents value-based engagements for FourKites clients as part of the sales cycle. This position interacts with clients throughout the week and travels to client sites as appropriate. Key activities include discovery with the client, collaboration with other members of the FourKites organization (product, consulting, sales, solution advisors, partners), creating value-based deliverables and client presentations. Working on special projects is included in this job function as is managing and prioritizing workload. The special projects will include scaling the value engineering organization to enable self-serve value deliverables, benchmarking databases, and custom ROI models.

Who you are:

  • Must be able to confidently and creatively present to C-suite at a prospect and convince them of FK’s differentiated value proposition.
  • Must be able to handle all levels of value-based engagement tasks including Discovery, business case creation & revision, client communication and executive presentation across the FK portfolio.
  • Broad understanding of FK’s products and services with the goal of communicating the unique value position they provide in the marketplace.
  • Must be able to work cross functionally: Product, Sales, Consulting, Partnerships, etc.
  • Defines the general messaging and presentation of the value business case unique to specific sales cycles. To include business challenges while considering competitive and industry standards.
  • Create, capture, and confidently speak to industry and client benchmarking to support business cases.
  • Must be able to interpret financial/operational ratios and apply it to a client’s value proposition.
  • Leads and owns the development of self-serve tools and collateral for the global sales organization.
  • Develops strong client relationships that will cultivate business opportunities (partner ecosystem included).
  • Measures and communicates targets to sales leadership of goals and performance for all value related deals.
  • Responsible for the quality and innovation of the value selling creation and presentations in sales cycles and building the framework surrounding all related activities to ensure that it can scale with success.
