Facilities Maintenance Manager

Dentologie dental group, with 13 dental practices throughout the city, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee office maintenance and repairs. This role requires a skilled, hands-on professional with expertise in painting, electrical, and plumbing—someone who knows when to handle an issue personally and when to escalate to a contractor.
This person will respond to submitted repair tickets from the dental offices, ensuring quick and effective resolutions to keep our facilities running smoothly. In addition to general maintenance, they will also support our technology and dental equipment teams with minor repairs, replacements, and routine upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Repairs & Maintenance
Address maintenance requests, including painting, electrical, and plumbing work.
Identify when a contractor is needed and coordinate service as required.
Perform routine facility upkeep and ensure a clean, safe environment
Technology & Equipment Support
Assist the technology team with on-site repairs and replacements (TVs, computers, etc.).
Help maintain x-ray systems. Training will be provided.
Receive basic training on dental equipment (chairs, sterilization units, mechanical rooms).
Work with distributor service techs to escalate complex dental equipment issues.
Oversee routine maintenance for dental and technology-related equipment.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in general maintenance is required.
Multi-site experience strongly preferred.
Medical or dental industry preferred.
A problem solver who takes initiative and doesn’t need constant direction.
Hardworking and positive attitude—someone who enjoys supporting a team and making an impact daily.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with office teams and vendors.
Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Skilled in basic facility maintenance with a clear understanding of when to escalate issues.
