As an Associate Product Manager on the Card Servicing team at Avant, you will identify and execute on key opportunities to enhance our customers’ credit card experience. Your work will help us build engaging features that position AvantCard as the top choice in every wallet. What you’ll do at Avant:

Communication

• Establish strong relationships with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to foster cross-functional alignment and trust.

• Tailor technical explanations for various audiences, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  

Business Intelligence

• Deepen your understanding of Avant’s data model to support the team’s data needs.

• Track key performance metrics (KPIs) and fulfill ad hoc analysis requests to guide decision-making.
  

Strategic Impact

• Develop expertise within your domain to proactively identify areas for improvement.

• Combine data-driven insights with a customer-centric mindset to shape and execute the strategy for card servicing features.
  

Product Development Lifecycle

• Pinpoint and prioritize opportunities through analytics, market trends, and user feedback.

• Translate these opportunities into actionable product requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering teams during implementation and testing.

• Assess feature impact and iterate based on results.
  

Leadership & Management

• Contribute to high-value projects and demonstrate leadership capabilities.

• Over time, take on additional responsibilities, whether that’s managing a small team or deepening your expertise as an individual contributor.
  

Why you’re a fit at Avant:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or comparable experience

• Experience: 1–4 years of experience in analytics, engineering, product, or design.

• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to juggle multiple priorities and execute tasks accurately.

• Independence: Capable of managing your own workload to meet timelines and team objectives.

This role is based on our downtown Chicago Office, located in the Merchandise Mart. We highly value collaboration and our hybrid schedule (M, T, Th in-office) enables flexibility to balance work and individual priorities.

Compensation Range:

The base salary range for this job is USD $80,000 - USD $124,000 / Year

Employees new to Avant typically come in below the midpoint of the pay range. The compensation range is based on the level outlined in the job posting, and compensation decisions are dependent on each applicant's experience, skills and abilities.

This role is eligible for additional incentives, including an annual bonus. These rewards are allocated based on level, impact and performance in the role.
