What we're looking for
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, as well as experience in CI/CD and a sound understanding of modern software development practices.
Responsibilities
Manage and improve our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
Continually optimize our CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions.
Work closely with the software development team to ensure seamless deployment of releases.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and tune services to ensure optimal performance.
Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.

Strong expertise in AWS services, including RDS, S3, App Runner, ECR, Step Functions, AWS Rekognition, AWS Comprehend, Route53, API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge, AWS App Runner, AWS App Sync, AWS Cognito, CloudWatch, ECS Fargate, and Kubernetes.
Proven experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, preferably with experience using GitHub Actions.
Experience with containerized environments and Docker.
Experience with NestJS, TypeScript, and MySQL is a plus.
Experience with Cloudflare is a plus.
Familiarity with frontend technologies like React and Tailwind CSS is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with mono repo.
Familiarity with video rendering services, specifically Remotion.
Familiarity with Replicate.com and its offerings.
