Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Services, Zylo’s Managed Services team acts as SaaS Category Managers on behalf of our customers and are accountable for achievement of SaaS Management initiatives as an extension of the customer organization. This is an add-on service for Zylo customers on top of their Zylo platform, focused on driving extraordinary ROI for customers and scaling a start-up greatly impacting Zylo’s overall continued growth.

Zylo’s Managed Services feed off of insights delivered via the Zylo platform, and provide tremendous opportunity for organizations to mature and scale their SaaS Management program. These services are expected to bring a consultative aspect to customers, based on SaaS Management best practices, in addition to actualization of some tactical SaaS Management activities.

What you will do

  • Embed with Zylo customers as an extension of their team to drive completion on SaaS Management opportunities surfaced by the Zylo platform
  • Help customers mature their SaaS Lifecycle Management and Procurement process and methodology
  • Own and/or support SaaS negotiations on behalf of Zylo customers: stakeholder collaboration, benchmarking of target price from the Zylo database, direct negotiation with providers, and facilitation of completion.
  • Take ownership of the customer Zylo instance as the primary power user in charge of configuration of the account, maintain the system of record, and validate spend/owners of applications, etc.
  • Achieve on SaaS Management opportunities based on best practices and Zylo insights: License reclaiming workflows, consolidation of subscriptions, addressing rogue SaaS purchasing, risk aversion activities, etc.
  • Maintain tracking of metrics aligned to customer value and success, delivering multi-level communication of program progress, status, and ROI.
  • Interact closely with Zylo’s Customer Success, Product, and Support teams to ensure alignment to customer value.
  • Travel: Moderate travel to customers and Zylo HQ for face-to-face meetings, workshops, etc. may be expected (once-twice annually per customer)
Requirements

What you need

  • 2+ years experience in a customer-facing role being the point-of-contact with experience rolling up your sleeves to find a solution to customer (internal/external) needs.
  • Experience overseeing and documenting SaaS Contract Negotiations
  • Experience in Procurement, IT, and/or the SaaS space working with cross-functional teams supporting elements of SaaS such as deployment/management/negotiations.
  • Experience navigating, actualizing, and documenting cost saving initiatives
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication experience
  • A strong attention to detail and tenacity to see projects and tasks to completion

Nice to have

  • Experience creating professional and eye-opening documents, utilizing graphics and charts to convey intricate themes and insights
  • A self-starter approach - aptitude to identify and actualize on actionable opportunities that drive customer ROI
  • Experience leveraging Excel and Google Sheets
