Zengines is building a new way to automate end-to-end data conversion. We are proving that machine learning can reduce the repetitive and painstaking process of moving data from one or more systems to another.

We seek an experienced and self-motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience building data-focused applications, following distributed systems practices, and collaborating in architecture discussions.

We are an early-stage startup where you can significantly influence the direction of the company and the technical choices we make. If this is exciting to you, we want to hear from you.

Day-to-day you will:

• Support complex cloud native environments running in AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Help design our CI/CD function at Zengines.
• Build IaC to support our infrastructure for both Zengines managed and customer deployed cloud instances.
• Liaison with both internal and external customers as it relates to our infrastructure needs.
• Actively participate in architecture and design discussions to improve the outcome of our technical choices.

We are looking for someone who:

• 3+ years of progressive experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrable experience using IaC tooling such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience developing cloud native infrastructure using Kubernetes.
• Experience developing infrastructure on any cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Experience using modern CI/CD tools and GitOps.
• Understands the need for observability and has experience with metrics processing as it relates to monitoring infrastructure related events.
• Communicates clearly across the different functions in engineering.
