About the role:
The role sits in the International head office in London and is a key contact for finance teams across the globe. The role reports to and works closely to support the accounting team of Mood International. The ideal candidate is someone that can:
Be responsible for the financial statements of Mood International
Eager to learn and build a strong understanding of the business
Able to clearly articulate the monthly results to the senior accounting team
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and post prepayment and accruals journals as part of the month-end closing process
Manage the Fixed Asset Register
Monthly intercompany reconciliation
Prepare bank reconciliations for multi currency entities
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
Maintain account subledgers
Collaborate with other departments to gather data and provide financial insights
Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management
Raising recharge sales invoices to intercompany entities
Skills:
Part qualified accountant
Worked within a multinational group and comfortable with accounting for multiple business
Systems:
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience in Oracle ERP – desirable
