We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in data visualization to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, data analysis, and experience creating dynamic, impactful reports and dashboards using Power BI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights through compelling visual representations of data.

Role Responsibilities

Data Visualization: Design and develop intuitive, interactive, and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate key performance indicators, trends, and actionable insights.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex data sets, identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies to support business decisions and strategy.
Report Creation & Maintenance: Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports, ensuring accuracy and relevancy of data visualizations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as strategy, sales, and operations, to understand business needs and design reports that drive actionable insights.
Data Integration: Work with data engineers and IT teams to ensure smooth integration of various data sources into Power BI for reporting and analysis.
Performance Optimization: Ensure Power BI reports and dashboards are optimized for performance, ensuring fast loading times and scalability.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure that all reports and dashboards meet high data quality standards and are consistent with the underlying data.

Qualifications

Required:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst role, with a strong emphasis on data visualization.
Power BI Expertise: Proficient in using Power BI for data visualization, dashboard creation, and report generation. Knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service is essential.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
SQL Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to transform business requirements into clear, actionable reports.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear, understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data visualization and reporting.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with data or reports.

Preferred:

Microsoft Fabric: experience with the Fabric suite such as Fabric Lakehouses and SQL Analytics Endpoints
Azure Data Factory (ADF): Experience or understanding of ADF pipelines
Healthcare Domain: Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Azure DevOps
