Squarespace is looking for a CRM Manager to lead and execute our cross-channel CRM strategy. This high-level role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in email marketing, able to develop and oversee tactics that support Squarespace CRM programs. You will manage the creation, and deployment of diverse email and mobile campaigns, ensuring they meet our goals and deliver outstanding customer experiences. As a Manager, you will collaborate with internal partners, driving the development of email content to best support email goals. You will ensure rigorous quality assurance across all campaigns. To succeed in this role, you must have a comprehensive understanding of all essential email marketing components, including template design, copywriting, and overall channel best practices.

You will work hybrid in-office and remote from our New York headquarters and report to the CRM Associate Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and improve CRM strategies across multiple marketing channels for products within the Squarespace portfolio.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the design, development, and execution of email, push, and in-app marketing campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates, open rates, subscription conversions, and revenue growth.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a CRM subject matter expert, providing consultation and best practices across the organization to support cross-departmental projects.
  • Partnerships and Data Management: Collaborate with Audience Strategy and Engineering, to fulfill campaign performance requests and data needs for dynamic content

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a email marketing/CRM role, with experience using multiple channels for customer communication.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design, email processes, and ESP platforms.
  • Project Management: Experience in CRM project management, leading complex campaigns through to successful execution, ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of domestic and international email compliance laws, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.
  • Design Proficiency: Keen eye for email design and templates, with experience using Figma for basic email layout design.
  • Passion for Product: Strong enthusiasm for the Squarespace product and mission

Cash Compensation Range: $126,500 - $170,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
