Squarespace is seeking a Media Strategist to join our paid Media team and elevate our presence across full-funnel, global campaigns. We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented, and insights-motivated performance marketer to support multiple SQSP lines of business.

You have already had exposure to campaign management in either an in-house or agency position, with hands-on experience in self-service ad buying platforms (Meta, Pinterest, Google Ads, DV360, and Trade Desk). You will build campaigns based on predetermined KPIs, but will also understand performance drivers based on insights derived from data within these platforms.

This role is based in our headquarters, will work hybrid in our New York City office and report to the Media & Acquisition Team Lead.

You'll Get To…

  • Assist with self-service campaign execution, targeting users across channels, formats, and the full marketing funnel for multiple SQSP products
  • Implement campaign strategies, creative refreshes, and tests
  • Improve tactics, including audience, creatives, and bidding strategy
  • Assist with weekly and monthly pacing processes, including identifying performance drivers, optimizing in-platform, and supporting internal models with data entry
  • Support the full-funnel team by pulling reports to identify important trends
  • Help manage relationships with our ad tech partners
  • Work on projects within media and other Squarespace department teams

Who We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of experience as a media buyer; Direct Response experience
  • Knowledge of paid social and programmatic media across both display and video
  • Proficiency with at least one primary self-service buying platform (Meta, Pinterest, Google, LinkedIn, Amazon, Trade Desk)
  • Understanding of conversion tracking and brand KPIs
  • Comfort working in Excel / Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), building reports, and compiling insights
  • Measurement driven, considers and implements ways of measuring effectiveness for recommended media
  • Brings strong communication, structured thinking, and problem solving skills

Cash Compensation Range: $70,500 - $113,850 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
