Expected hours: 40 per week
Requirements
- Assembling sub-components into larger assemblies with basic hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, drills, etc.) and fastening the larger sub-assemblies together
- Creating wire harnesses, electrical connectors, and soldering PCBs
- Provide feedback on assembly processes and components
- Help on board and train new production associates
- Consolidate and report production problems to management in a timely manner
- Validate work instruction prior to dissemination to production associates
- Help develop new production processes for development hardware
- Follow test instructions and report findings to the responsible engineer
- Preparing test facilities for test and tear-down of said tests
Expected hours: 40 per week
Requirements
- Someone who is eager and ready to learn new skills with a positive attitude
- 3+ years in a production environment, ideally with electrical and mechanical components
- Experience resolving production nonconformances or new production issues
- Someone who has followed work instructions to produce electromechanical components
- Some experience with one or more of the following: hydraulic systems and components, electrical connectors, DC motors, low voltage electrical systems, general assembly, component wiring, automotive assembly, process improvement, assembly process design, data acquisition, test procedures, test set-up, following work instructions, equipment repair
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
