General assembly

• Assembling sub-components into larger assemblies with basic hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, drills, etc.) and fastening the larger sub-assemblies together
• Creating wire harnesses, electrical connectors, and soldering PCBs
• Provide feedback on assembly processes and components
  
  

Production Assembly Leadership

• Help on board and train new production associates
• Consolidate and report production problems to management in a timely manner
• Validate work instruction prior to dissemination to production associates
• Help develop new production processes for development hardware
  
  

Test Support

• Follow test instructions and report findings to the responsible engineer
• Preparing test facilities for test and tear-down of said tests
  
  

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Requirements

• Someone who is eager and ready to learn new skills with a positive attitude
• 3+ years in a production environment, ideally with electrical and mechanical components
• Experience resolving production nonconformances or new production issues
• Someone who has followed work instructions to produce electromechanical components
• Some experience with one or more of the following: hydraulic systems and components, electrical connectors, DC motors, low voltage electrical systems, general assembly, component wiring, automotive assembly, process improvement, assembly process design, data acquisition, test procedures, test set-up, following work instructions, equipment repair
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
