Slip Robotics is a cutting-edge robotics company specializing in the development of large autonomous mobile robots for loading and unloading semi-trailers. With a strong presence in the greater Atlanta area, we are continuously expanding our team of passionate engineers and designers to create innovative robotic solutions that address various logistical challenges.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Robotics Field Engineer to join our team and contribute to the deployment, service, and monitoring for our robotic solutions.

Responsibilities include the following:

Deployment & Logistics:

  • Coordinate the shipping of robots to customers
  • Manage and oversee the receipt of robots at customer sites
  • Act as the site manager at customer locations during the implementation period, ensuring smooth deployment and setup

Technical Support:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues on-site
  • Provide guidance and assist field technicians in executing repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure up-to-date knowledge on all products and solutions

Process Design & Implementation:

  • Work with customers to design efficient workflows and material flow strategies that maximize ROI
  • Develop and implement processes for preventative maintenance and regular service checks for our fleet
  • Establish a comprehensive spare parts strategy for deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient replacements

Sales & Product Demos:

  • Assist the sales team by providing logistical and technical support during product demonstrations at potential customer sites
  • Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product capabilities

Monitoring & Maintenance:

  • Oversee and monitor a fleet of deployed robots, ensuring optimal performance and addressing issues in real-time
  • Design and lead the implementation of maintenance schedules and checks to ensure longevity and efficiency of our robotic solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in robotic deployment, maintenance, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and adapt to changing scenarios
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and multitasking
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on real-time issue resolution
  • Slip Robotics is located in Norcross, GA. The nature of this role requires on-site work and approximately 50% travel.
