Position Summary:
In support of the mission, vision and values of SyBridge Technologies., the Material Handler/Driver will be responsible for their part in inventory control (purchasing, receiving and issuing). Supporting the Assembly Plant, the Material Handler /Driver ensures first time quality is a priority each and every time while adhering to health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, maintaining, and updating purchased/inventory parts
- Executing inventory counts, resolving discrepancies between physical counts and database records
- Developing and/or improving upon inventory management procedures
- Stocking and issuing supplies
- Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and report any issues
- Receiving material into the business operating software
- Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock
- Monitor shelves/bins and fill when needed
- Contact suppliers and resolve any shipping/part issues
- Driving-vendor pickups and inter plants pick up/deliveries
Collaborations and Partnerships Responsibilities:
- Participate and support in required meetings and training as requested.
- Supports operations through utilization of ERP/MRP system.
- Supports supply chain team.
Qualifications & Requirements for the Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years’ experience in inventory control (purchasing, receiving, and issuing) in a mold shop or warehouse setting
- Ability to operate forklift, overhead cranes, and similar equipment
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficient in time management and communication skills
- Previous experience in Shipping/Receiving is an asset to applicants
- Ability to utilize ERP/MRP and data input as needed.
- Ability to work some overtime and some weekends
- Class D license is an asset
