The Role

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Driver Experience team as a hands-on technical expert and community bridge-builder. In this role, you will be deeply involved in daily coding while serving as a key driver of our global engineering culture. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work in lockstep with Android engineers and the broader iOS Chapter to ensure platform alignment and architectural consistency. You won’t just be developing software; you will be a champion for collective growth, breaking down silos to ensure our mobile strategy is unified, scalable, and built on shared success.

Your background

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience

• Deep expertise in Swift; strong command of SwiftUI and experience migrating from UIKit

• Solid grasp of Swift Concurrency — async/await, actors, task cancellation, and structured concurrency patterns

• Experience building and scaling apps used by hundreds of thousands or millions of users in an enterprise or consumer context

• Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, TCA, or equivalent) and their trade-offs

• Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, and data modeling

• Experience with performance profiling tools (Instruments, MetricKit) and a track record of measurable improvements

• Familiarity with analytics, crash reporting, and experimentation frameworks (e.g. Firebase, Datadog, LaunchDarkly)

• Comfortable working in a large, cross-functional engineering organization with sourced/managed environments

• Professional fluency in English is required.
